Current mood: anxious

Alright, I'm here now...I think.
LJ-SEC refuses to let me transfer the posts from my LJ without downloading a new and spiffy program of some sort from Microsoft, so I finally worked up the momentum and began uploading each story individually. I then realized it was also an opportune time to start uploading them onto Moonshadow, and before I knew it, most of them were up (my eyes began to glaze over at around 11 though, because of this silly flu, so I had to stop. But the rest shouldn't be too bad)!

I caught up on sleep in a big way these past few days because I've been ill and have decided against taking morning shifts at the bookstore while teaching piano that same evening for 4 days in a row, and my consciousness cleared enough for me to realize that:

1. there are very few publishing houses where I am
2. application deadlines for publishing programs are Feb. 1
3. I don't really want to commit to the 2-year masters program here anyway
4. I write really long sentences

So I'm in a bit of a panicky mood. I just can't spend another year working two jobs, and yet there seem to be no fewer than a dozen publishing jobs up for grabs each year in this city (ok maybe I exaggerate o.o) between hundreds of people, many of which who have graduated from some type of program.
I made up a list of general anxieties than I was suffering last night, just in my mind, but decided against putting it down in word form; it'd be too overwhelming. One check-list item at a time, I suppose. *sighs*
